RESEARCH ANALYST I
RESEARCH AND INFORMATION TECHNOLOGIES DEPARTMENT

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's Degree from a four year accredited college or university
Master's Degree from a four year accredited college or university a plus
One to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Valid Texas Driver License with driving record that meets the requirements of the District

MAJOR PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

Works in collaboration with department to design, implement and evaluate data analysis and predictive modeling from the Compass Data Management System
Assists in the development of performance standards and assessment frameworks for various district benchmark assessments
Prepares and presents reports related to the development of the data analysis/predictive modeling system for administrators and directors and the Board of Education as directed
Creates standard student, classroom, grade level, school and district achievement reports for use in data analysis and the data analysis/predictive modeling system
Assists administrators and directors with the creation of user defined reports for data analysis and program evaluation, including grant performance reports
Provides training and technical assistance to support the creation, implementation and use of the data analysis/predictive modeling system
Assists in the review and evaluation of results of District wide testing programs to measure program effectiveness
Provides technical assistance for administrators on the use of Compass data to insure the accuracy of students demographic data
Maintains confidentiality of all information
Performs additional duties and accepts other responsibilities as may be assigned

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:

SALARY: $53,824-$65,639 PAY GRADE: E4 WORK SCHEDULE: Twelve Months
