PROGRAM AND SAFETY SUPERVISOR
ATHLETICS DEPARTMENT

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelors Degree from a four year college or university
One to two years related experience or training
Valid Certification by the American Red Cross in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), First Aid and Lifeguard Training
Valid Certification by the American Red Cross in Life Guarding
Valid Texas Driver License with driving record that meets the requirements of the District

MAJOR PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

Coordinates safety procedures for both facilities
Organizes and instructs lifeguard courses
Trains and supervises instructors for Swim America Program
Provides supervision for both facilities
Reviews Aquatic Center Staff certifications for CPR, First Aid and Safety Training for Swim Coaches
Maintains all safety equipment for both facilities to include Automated External Defibrillators (AED's)
Coordinates safety efforts with North East Independent School District (NEISD)-CPO
Works closely with the American Red Cross in training and safety issues for lifeguards and instructors
Performs additional duties and accepts other responsibilities as may be assigned

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:

SALARY: $39,325-$49,157 PAY GRADE: A1 WORK SCHEDULE: Twelve Months
