NJHS

Sponsors:    Cynthia Gonzales, Meagan Burney and Jamie Bryant

NJHS will meet the first Friday of every month.  The first meeting is September 7th at 7:45 in the auditorium.

Meeting Schedule

May 2

NJHS is a service organization that is geared towards honoring those students who have gone the extra mile in academics, service, leadership, citizenship, and character. Each year those 7th and 8th students who have earned a cumulative GPA of 90 or more are invited to apply to join our organization. Upon review of the applications and teacher recommendations, the students are then notified that they have been chosen by the Faculty Council as potential members of NJHS. The induction ceremony takes place in the sprig of every year. Once inducted, students are expected to participate in one committee, 6 hours of service a semester, and in the paying of dues.

Activities for NJHS members include, but are not limited to, playing bingo with residents at a retirement center, a winter holiday celebration, various school spirit functions, and IKE's Big Day! NJHS is great way to meet new people and to help out our school and surrounding community, so we hope to see your application!
