WE NEED YOU AS A PTA Member and VOLUNTEER!  YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE! 
 Everyone has different strengths and gifts as well as different time constraints on how they can volunteer.  We have many opportunities to volunteer at Eisenhower: Providing food for luncheons, making copies in the workroom, assisting in the library, providing help from home, becoming a Watch DOG, mentoring students, just to name a few.

HOW DO I JOIN IKE PTA? Just download the "Membership form" below and return with your payment of $5.50.
 
HOW DO I VOLUNTEER? Just download the "Volunteer form" below and return it to school.  If you have not been cleared by DPS in the last 3 years, please click the Volunteer DPS Clearance Link to be cleared. 
 
HOW DO I ORDER IKE SPIRIT SHIRTS? Just click on the order form link below and send order form with payment to school with your child. Orders will be filled weekly and delivered to your child in their last period class.

May 9th 7:30-8:15- PTA Volunteer Thank You Breakfast
Please join us in the library as we thank you for all your volunteer efforts this year. 
We will serve breakfast tacos graciously donated by Las Palapas and light continental  breakfast fare.
 
May 9th, 8:15- Special General Meeting and Transitional Board Meeting-
 to approve the bylaw change below, followed by the transitional Board Meeting. Both outgoing and incoming Board members are asked to attend. Current Board members please bring your committee binder to transition to the incoming chair.

Motion:

I MOVE, that Eisenhower Middle School PTA Bylaws Article VII, Members and Dues, Section 5. Nominating Committee, be amended from:

Each member of this Local PTA shall pay annual dues as follows: one dollar and seventy-five cents (1.75) for National PTA dues, two dollars and twenty-five cents (2.25) for Texas PTA dues, and one dollar ($1.00) for the Local PTA dues.

To: Each member of this Local PTA shall pay annual dues as follows: one dollar and seventy-five cents (1.75) for National PTA dues, two dollars and twenty-five cents (2.25) for Texas PTA dues, and one dollar and fifty cents ($1.50) for the Local PTA dues.

Rationale:This dues increase will bring us in line with other PTA units in our council who charge $1.50 for individual local dues. This additonal .50 will go to fund PTA programs at Eisenhower Middle School.

Congratuations to our KHAKI CLOSET SALE Committee!
The Ike PTA was honored with the "SPOTLIGHT ON" Award from the Northeast Council of PTA's at the September 18th Council Meeting.  The award honored our "Khaki Closet Sale" for being innovative and supporting students needs while creating a revenue stream to add support to our PTA program. Special thanks to Joann Franck creator of the sale, current Chair, Laura Lopez and Mr. Jimenez.
