Author Visit with Sophie Jordan
New York Times best-selling author Sophie Jordan will be visiting the library on Friday, May 22nd.  Each period Ms. Jordan will speak to a group of 6th-8th about her life and books, how she became a writer, her writing process, and what it takes to become a published author.  Students will be selected by their English teachers based on their expressed interest in writing and reading.  See the following link for more information: Sophie Jordan Author Visit.

Summer Break is drawing near!  Amidst summer camps and vacations, please encourage your child to read over the break.  Reading over the summer helps students retain and enhance their reading skills, making them better prepared for the upcoming school year.  See the links below for suggested summer reading lists and fun reading challenges.

Summer Recreation Program

June 8th - July 2nd


Program Information:

Who: Incoming grades 6-8

Date:  Monday June 8th through Thursday July 2nd (four days a week for three weeks)

Time: 8:30am-12:30pm (Pick up no later than 12:45pm)

Cost: $75.00 per student/Guests are allowed at $7.00 per day. No refunds after June 5th

***Minimum of 50 students is required for the program.  If the minimum is not met, parents/guardians will be notified prior to the start of the program. ***
