
The Design and Technology Academy is located on the campus of the newly renovated Theodore Roosevelt High School. Students from NEISD as well as students from outside the district may apply for admission and are accepted based on a lottery system. The DATA curriculum is college preparatory. Students are encouraged to take rigorous courses in academic disciplines in addition to DATA electives. In order to graduate as a DATA graduate Data students must complete the requirements for the NEISD recommended graduation plan, perform at least 120 hours of community service, complete a comprehensive guided research project and a 120 hour internship.
