The Design and Technology Academy is located on the campus of the newly renovated Theodore Roosevelt High School. Students from NEISD as well as students from outside the district may apply for admission and are accepted based on a lottery system. The DATA curriculum is college preparatory. Students are encouraged to take rigorous courses in academic disciplines in addition to DATA electives.
The Design and Technology Academy provides opportunities that foster each individual's intellectual and creative development, love of learning, and strength of character through a community that encourages respect, support, and challenge.
A DATA graduate will be an independent thinker and learner who works creatively and confidently as a community member to design solutions for tomorrow.
DATA students must complete special requirements in addition to the standard graduation requirements to graduate from DATA but they also have special opportunities to obtain the required credits. For the full list click here.
