The E12 Program
Students at A&M

The E12 Program Goals

The goal of the E12 program is to focus attention on a small group of targeted Texas high schools in order to:

establish partnerships with top performing Texas high schools to increase the numbers of well prepared, diverse students enrolling in the college of engineering at Texas A&M University.

provide high school students information about the many opportunities available in the engineering disciplines and to provide the inspiration toa encourage students to pursue engineering as a career.

The E12 Schools

High schools in Texas were selected for the E12 program based on the school demographics, TEA performance ratings, average SAT scores of seniors, and the number of students attending Texas A&M from that school. The E12 schools will periodically be evaluated for continued participation in the E12 program.

The E12 Activities

Students and teachers in the E12 program will have enhanced access to engineering faculty, administrators, staff and students through the E 12 program. They will be included in an email listserv and will receive periodic information about program activities, events and other items of interest happening on campus at Texas A&M.
