The Board approved an Interlocal Agreement regarding Knights Cross Elementary School. The Board also approved the following: Secondary Schools HVAC Upgrades Project Bid Package VIII (Bradley and Wood MS) Schematic Design (SD); Transportation North Bid Package II Facility Renovations, Site Landscaping and Civil SIte Improvements Construction Documents; Lee High School New JROTC Facility Schematic Design (SD); and the Safe Routes to School Infrastructure Grant (Phase 2) Application. |

North East ISD opened its newest athletic facility, Heroes Stadium, to the community for the Madison High School vs. O'Connor High School football game. Heroes Stadium is named in honor of all past, current and future graduates and staff who walk through NEISD as heroes. The complex includes a football/soccer field, shot put/discus area, athletic support facilities, press box, covered-observation deck, ticket and office facilities, spirit club/merchandise booths, full-service concession stands, central plant services, and bus circulation.
