2003 Bond Project: Madison High School Roofing Program

Phase 1

Scope:
Roofing Improvements to upgrade and/or Maintain Existing Roof to a Uniform District Standard. This project represents Phase 1 of a two phase project to replace the remainder of the original Madison High School roof areas.  Phase 1 will replace the roof area over the Auditorium Building measuring approximately 16,793 sf.

Phase 2-A

Scope:
Roofing Improvements to upgrade and/or Maintain Existing Roof to a Uniform District Standard. This project will replace direct expansion natural gas heating RTUs in the H-Building and like units in the K-Building that are operating at or beyond the typical life expectancy for this type equipment. In addition, a portion of the K-Building 1st floor roof and deck will be replaced in conjunction with the rooftop unit replacements.

Scope:
Roofing Improvements to upgrade and/or Maintain Existing Roof to a Uniform District Standard. This project represents the final phase of a multi-phase project to replace the original roof areas at Madison High School. Phase II-B replaces the remainder of the H and K Building roof areas (53,314 sq. ft.).

1 The Bond Planning Estimate represents the original bond program costs developed during the bond planning meetings for each project and includes: Design Fees, Construction Costs, Technology Equipment and Installation, Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment and Construction Management Costs. The School Board "approved" construction budget can be found in the project Bid Award Agenda Item and represents any/all changes to the project resulting from the design development process and/or construction marketplace and inflation costs.
