The difference in success or failure
is not how you look, how you dress,
or how you're educated.
It's in how you think!
The power of a 212° attitude
can be unstoppable!

I joined the North East ISD family a few years back and I’m starting my 22nd year in education. I spent 11 years in the classroom and the last 11 years in administration. My certifications are in the areas of Early Childhood Education, Bilingual Education, Principal and I most recently added the certification of Superintendent. I remain active in my field as the President-Elect for the Texas Elementary Principals and Supervisors Association for District 20 and as a Senior Director of the Alamo Area Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development. I’m fortunate to be working in a field that I am passionate about – teaching and learning. I challenge myself daily to learn and grow with my students, staff and community. |

This will be my 23rd year in public Education and I am truly blessed to work among some of the best educators in the North East School District. I am a native San Antonian graduating from Clark High School, earning a BBA from St. Mary's University and a Masters in Education from Our Lady of the Lake University. My teaching experience includes: 11 years in Kindergarten,6 years in 3rd grade and 5 years as the Instructional Intervention Teacher(IIT). As an IIT, I was a literacy specialist for the campus......so, yes, I do believe Reading is the foundation to learning all the core subjects. I have been a part of North East ISD for 16 years. Prior to that I worked in the Harlandale School District.
