What You Need to Know
Visiting the Campus
We welcome visitors to our campus at any time, but please come and sign in at
the front office each time you visit. Get your VISITOR badge while there.
Having Lunch With Your Child
Parents are invited to join their children for lunch at the regularly scheduled
lunchtime. If you plan to purchase a meal from the cafeteria, please
contact the cafeteria at 491-8400 by 8:30 a.m. to order a tray. When you
arrive for lunch, please sign in at the office and receive a VISITOR badge
before going to the cafeteria. You may eat with your child either in the
cafeteria or in the courtyard are; however, parents my take only their child out
of the cafeteria for lunch.
Picking Up Students During School Hours
You are encouraged to schedule doctor and dentist appointments during non-school
hours. However, if you must pick up your child at school for whatever reason
during school hours, you will be asked to show a photo I.D. before the child
will be released from school. This is for our protection and the safety of
your child.
Parking
The parking lot at the Arbor Hill Apartments is for residents only. Please
do not park in the lot at any time. Cars may be towed and/or ticketed.
PARENT RESOURCES AND SPECIAL SERVICES
Last year, resource materials were collected for teachers and parents of children receiving special services at our school and placed in our library. We are going to continue to expand the resource materials this year to meet our teacher's and parent's needs. Take some time and browse through our section of Coker's library. If there is a specific topic or book you would like added to our library, please contact me at 491-8400. I will keep parents with children in special services up-to-date on upcoming district events and information pertaining to our children throughout the year. Have a great year!
