2016 Trinity Prize of Excellence TeacherMrs. Victoria Lane
This is Mrs. Lane's second year at Coker Elementary.
Her colleagues honored her with this award because
of her excellent work with her students and especially
for writing and receiving a grant that allowed dual
language students to have access to much needed
model print. Mrs Lane states, "No matter where or what
background children come from, they are equally
important and I feel should receive a positive experience
in education." Coker staff and students are grateful
Mrs. Lane is a part of our community.

Mr. and Mrs. Benson attended Coker's 52nd annual Coker Fair. When asked what brought them out, Mrs. Benson replied, "We still live in our home that we lived in when Cameron attended Coker beginning in 1996. We've seen all the construction happening here over the last few years and wanted to come see how things turned out." Their son, Cameron, is currently an architect major at The University of Texas. He's currently in Copenhagen for a study abroad program. The Bensons bought tickets for getting food and drinks. The proceeds from the Coker Fair are used to fund our PTA's student programs.
