Clear Spring Elementary celebrated Grandparents' Day on September 25, 2009 by honoring grandparents with lunch at the campus. There was a large turnout for the school's annual event. Students were photographed with their grandparents, and each grandparent was given a photo as a token of appreciation. Below are some of the poems that were displayed around the school to let our grandparents know how we felt about them.

	Grandparent Rap 123Holiday.net It’s Grandparents’ Day and we’re here to say, “We love our Grandparents in a major way.” So sit right down and take a seat, And we’ll put on a show that can’t be beat! Some grandparents are close. Some grandparents are far. No matter where they are, they are each a star. Some short, some tall, some big, some small. It doesn’t matter. We love them all!

Mommy and Daddy both need a break, We’ll play games and we’ll stay up real late! Oh, we’d like to thank our Grandparents For all the things that they do.
