Our goal in fourth grade is to provide a safe and risk free learning environment where every child can learn.  In order to reach this goal we will provide exciting hands on lessons with “real world” experiences.   
In Science the students will be classifying various species in the animal kingdom. The students will work on experiments and will create a Science Notebook.   In Social Studies, map skills and the regions of Texas will be explored. In Math we will use many math manipulatives to help teach problem solving techniques.  The students are learning estimation, multiplication and division through Math Investigations.  Language Arts will be filled with exciting writing projects.  In Reading we will use the 4 Blocks frame work to provide the student with comprehension skills and the love for reading.

Exciting adventures await the students as this year continues to progress.  Challenging activities and hard work are also in the students’ future.  With continued parental support and a great academic curriculum, the fourth grade students will surely show us "Where Amazing Happens”.
