Newsweek magazine has ranked Churchill High School one of the best high schools in the country. The list ranks the top 1,500 high schools in the United States, which represents the top six percent of public schools. ANNOUNCEMENTS

Chargers win Gucci Bowl 21-7 over Clark on Thursday, August 26th at Heroes! Great performances off the field by the dance, cheer, drill and ROTC. Our awesome band also had an amazing halftime performance as well as keeping the crowds going during the game.

Video Tech students and Mrs. Morriss also ran the videoboards at the stadium for the game and will run both videoboards at each staduim for all NEISD games. Video students enjoyed meeting and greeting ESPN talent and Spurs players while working the Madison vs. Steele game for the national TV broadcast last saturday night.

The Project Graduation committee will be distributing orders for senior shirts on Friday, September 3, in the cafeteria during all three lunches. If you sent in an order through the Welcome Packets please stop by the table to pick up your shirt. Senior shirts will also be sold for $10 each. Proceeds from shirt sales benefit the Project Graduation event on June 4, 2011.
