The Music Man

Winston Churchill High School is proud to announce this year's muscial--a powerful collaboration of its nationally recognized programs in theatre, choir, orchestra, dance and band. Be sure to purchase tickets soon for the WC production of Meredith Wilsons' The Music Man. Its the unforgettable tale of the pied piper who brings the joy of music to the people of a small town. A slick con artist poses as music Professor Harold Hill, who sells the town of River City, Iowa, a Wells Fargo Wagon full of band instruments, uniforms and the promise of a boys band. Immediately prior to pulling off his con and stealing the towns money, he encounters a serious obstacle; he falls in love with Marian the librarian. Themes of honesty and forgiveness, combined with famous award winning songs are sure to provide an evening of fantastic entertainment for the whole family. Produced by the Fina Arts Department in cooperation with Music Theatre International.

Performances will be held in the Lanny Naegelin Theatre on the Churchill High School Campus located at 12049 Blanco Road, San Antonio, Texas.
