Summer Reading Time!

Did you know that you can check books out for the summer?

*A Parent must come up to check out the books - May 29-30.

*A summer reading bag & bookmark will be provided. Please keep your books safe & protected all summer by keeping them in the bag.

*All books must be returned to the Canyon Ridge Library the week of August 27-31, 2012 when we return to school.

Congratulations to our Battle Readers!

Third and Fourth graders competed in a heated battle over the chapter books they read this year. *Mrs. Myer's class won in a close contest among the very competitive 3rd grade classes.

*Ms. Ransleben's class triumphed in 4th grade and will go on to district level competition on May 17th.

ALL LIBRARY BOOKS due May 18th!

Earn your "All Cleared & Ready for Take Off" spirit stick and 1/2 price coupon for Fiesta Texas by having all books turned in and all fines/bills paid by May 18th.

Are you interested in television, creative writing, or technology?

Are you in 4th grade?

We are currently looking for the future Ridge Reporters for our morning announcements.!

You may try out to be on the technical crew - which operates the camera and sound equipment. We will need two teams of 2 students.

Or you may try out for reporter - you help write the news for each morning's announcements, and prepare the other students. We will need two teams of 3 students each.
