Things to know about the Canyon Ridge Library Media Center:
EVERY DAY is library day at Canyon Ridge!
Hours of operation: 7:45- 3:00, school days
Our flexibly scheduled, open access library enables students and staff to visit the library for book exchange, information searches, or browsing as often as needed.
Each class has a scheduled book exchange time. The classroom teacher, with the library staff, assists students in book self-selection.
Circulation Guidelines:
Kindergarten: 1 book for one week, 2 second semester
1st & 2nd grade: 1-3 books for one week
3rd-5th grade up to 1-5 books for two weeks
Parents: 1-5 books for two weeks
(Parent account must be established at first check out)
Fines are not charged for overdue books.
Fines will be charged for damage to books or for replacing lost books.
A student may not check out additional books until an overdue book is returned or lost/ damage fines are paid.
