How Much Sleep Does Your Child Need?
Your child needs adequate sleep every night. The amount depends on the child’s age, activity level, and health status. The school age child should average 9 ½ hours of sleep per night and the pre-school child should get up to 12 hours of sleep per night!
Make sure your children eat breakfast everyday!!!!
A 1998 research study was conducted to see how eating breakfast in a school breakfast program affected school performance. At the end of the four-month study, it was determined that those students who participated in a school breakfast program had significantly greater increases in their math grades and significantly greater decreases in the rate of school absences and tardiness than children who did not participate in the school breakfast program.
