Karen Funk is completing her second year as an Assistant Director for North East Independent School District.  She has spent over 22 years coaching and teaching in Texas. Karen attended the University of Texas at Arlington after having moved almost every school year and taught in the Grand Prairie School System after graduating.  She then moved to San Antonio and coached and taught in SAISD for 5 years at Highlands High School before coming to North East. Karen taught Health  and coached at Madison High School for the last 15 years before joining the Athletic Office.

3.Assists with female coaching prospects
