VOLLEYBALL UPDATE

Regional Champion and state bound, for the first time in school history, are the Johnson Jaguar's volleyball team.  44-6 for the season so far, Johnson will play on Friday night at Strahan Coliseum at 7:00 PM against Coppell who is 40-8.  When the Jags win on Friday night, the finals are set for 7:00 PM on Saturday night.  Tickets are $10.00 for adults and $5.00 for students and are only available at the site.  The other semi-final game is at 5:00 PM between McKinney Boyd and Houston Cypress Falls.  No noisemakers are allowed in the gym.   Come early, stay late and support Johnson in their bid for the gold.

The regional tourney for 5A at St. Mary's University was a great match between Johnson and Reagan one more time. The district champion and runner-up provided a hard hitting, digging and blocking match that played out in four tough sets in just under two hours.  It proved that if you came out of District 26 5A that you had been well season and prepared for the road through bracket p[lay and to the State Tournament.
