Churchill's Tito Moreiras Captures the UIL 5A State Tennis Title Tito defeated Nick Naumann from College Park High School 7-5, 7-5 in the finals of the 5A boys singles draw. The state tournament took place a Lakeway World of Tennis in Austin. |
| Churchill and Reagan players shine at 5A State Tennis Tournament Churchill's Tito Morieras won the state title in the boys singles draw. Churchill's Taryn Strahl and Brian Galon advanced to the Finals of the mixed doubles draw and finished 2nd in the state. Regan's Christina Lopez advanced to the quarter finals in the girls singles draw. Churchill's Joanie Bryant and Elisa Nelson advanced to the quarter finals of the girls doubles draw.
