Basketball Update – Girls Bi-district, Boys District Race

 

Congratulations are in store for the Reagan Lady Rattlers.  The girls along with Coach Terry Barton have won the district 26-5A title.  Also entering the playoffs are Johnson, Churchill and Madison.  The schedule of bi-district games is posted above on this webpage.  Fans should note that the next round in the playoffs could begin as early as Thursday of this week.

 

The boys’ district race was thrown into turmoil last Friday night as the two front runners Churchill and Madison both lost.  In the first game of a triple header at Lee High School, Johnson defeated Lee 69-60.  In the second game, MacArthur won a close battle with Madison 59-54.  In the nightcap, Reagan defeated Lee 79-74.  All games were well played and created a scenario in which all four of our playoff teams are very closely matched.  The final boys’ district games will be played Monday night in Littleton Gymnasium.
