New Employee Orientation

All new employees are required to attend New Employee Orientation prior to the start date of their new employment. After an applicant is recommended for a position, the applicant will be approved by our Board of Trustees and scheduled for New Employee Orientation. Processing of new employees occurs in Human Resources on the second floor of the NEEC building. You will be contacted by one of the following individuals who will provide all the information that you will need prior to Orientation.

Orientation is held at the North East Education Center (NEEC) located at 8961 Tesoro Drive, 78217. Orientation begins promptly at 7:50 am on the day you are assigned, with additional training on Fridays for some specific employees on the following day. We conclude at approximately 4:15 p.m. Please plan accordingly for traffic, parking and locating the room assignment. During orientation you will have an opportunity to meet with a Payroll Specialist to answer any questions regarding salary and payment schedule. You will also meet with an Employee Benefits Specialist who will provide necessary information regarding all insurance and benefits that are available to you.
