Field Experience / Observation Requests

North East Independent School District supports teacher certification programs which require the completion of classroom observation hours.  We support these programs in the belief that by allowing access into our schools and classrooms, participants have an opportunity to gain valuable experience toward their professional development as a teacher. Individuals who are currently enrolled in a college, university, or an Alternative Certification Program are allowed to participate in classroom observations. All student observers, practicum students, field experience students, student interns, and/or alternative certification program candidates interested in completing observation hours with North East ISD, must complete an online Student (Field Experience/Observation Requests) application. Observation opportunities are available from September 1 thru April 22, 2013.
