CERTIFIED APPLICATION: For Teachers, Administrators and other Professionals Teacher applications are accepted year round.
CLASSIFIED APPLICATION: For Paraprofessionals and Auxiliary
Applications for Instructional Assistants, Custodians, Food Service Assistants, Substitute Assistants, Bus Drivers and Bus Assistants are accepted year round. All other Classified applications are accepted when the position is posted.
*To satisfy the requirements for the No Child Left Behind Act, the requirements for Instructional Assistants at Title I schools are:
- 48 College Credit Hours or
- Associates Degree or Higher or
- Take a rigorous test that equates to 2 years of college (the rigorous test adopted by NEISD is the ETS ParaPro Test)
SUBSTITUTES:
Beginning October 17, 2011 and until further notice, NEISD will no longer accept Substitute Teacher applications. Thank you for your interest in substitute teaching for NEISD.
