Tejeda students and administrators thank teachers
An Enchilada Fiesta Luncheon, compliments of the Tejeda Middle School Administrators, was prepared by the Hospitality students in honor of all faculty and staff for Teacher Appreciation Week. The Hospitality classes prepared cheese enchiladas, spanish rice, charro beans, fresh squeezed limeade, Mexican pralines and Bunuelo chips.
The students prepared the menu during their hospitality classes following recipes that were provided to them by teacher, Marty Flores. “The students did an amazing job using skills they learned in class to prepare the food for 150 people.” said Flores. The students planned the luncheon including the menu, decorations, food preparation, and the actual service.
