All 13 NEISD Middle Schools competed in a District UIL One-Act Play Contest held at Krueger Middle School Feb. 29 ? Mar. 1, 2008. Lopez Middle School won first place in Zone 1 for "Lend Me a Tenor," and Bradley Middle School won first place in Zone 2 for "The Diviners." All schools were divided into two zones based on school size; for Zone 1, Jackson Middle School (shown) won second place for "The Love for Three Oranges."
