To raise funds for sun shade equipment on the school playground, Stone Oak Elementary School conducted a "Kiss the Pig" contest. Students brought in spare change to vote for either their principal Terri Chidgey or Vice Principal Katie Gloyna. The administrator with the most money would be crowned "Ms. Pig Kisser" and be awarded: a crown, sash and kiss to a little pink pig named Bob. Chidgey was announced the winner. The event raised a total of $444.37 for the sun shade project.
