Clear Spring Elementary finished up their celebration of National Children's Book Week on Friday, Nov. 16 by having a book character dress up day. Students, teachers, and staff alike dressed up as their favorite book character, such as: the characters from Mrs. Wishy-Washy; many Dr. Seuss books, including Thing 1 and Thing 2, The Cat and The Hat, Sam I Am, and more; Harry Potter; the whole Peanuts Gang; Miss Nelson and Miss Viola Swamp from the book Miss Nelson is Missing; Mrs. Frizzle; the cows and farmer from Click, Clack, Moo; characters from Eric Carle books, including the Grouchy Ladybug and the Very Hungry Caterpillar; and the whole group from Charlotte's Web. The day ended with a character fashion show.
