NEISD announces 2015 teachers of the year

Nearly 70 campus Teachers of the Year gathered to be recognized as the best of the best at North East ISD. The district hosted its annual Teacher of the Year banquet at The Club at Sonterra Wednesday, May 8.

"We have a tradition of excellence at NEISD. It is because of the dedicated and passionate teachers in the classroom," said Dr. Brian G. Gottardy, Superintendent of Schools.

The judging committee, made up of six previous campus teachers of the year, selected an Elementary Teacher of the Year and Secondary Teacher of the Year.
