On Monday, May 15, Wetmore Elementary School welcomed back approximately 50 former Rangers and their families at the school's second annual Senior Breakfast. Many hugs, tears and smiles were exchanged with everyone who attended.
Students, families, former/current Ranger faculty and staff reminisced on their elementary years at Wetmore and shared great stories with one another. The Senior Class of 2017 was reminded by America Gonzalez-Rosas, Wetmore Principal, that once they are a Ranger, they will always be a Ranger.
Wilbert Morgan, former Wetmore Principal, addressed them as well and let them know that.
"Seeing you today, reminds us of why we do, what we do," said Morgan.
In the spirit of keeping the end in mind, the senior class walked the hallways where current Rangers got to greet them.
Congratulations to the Senior Class of 2017 and their families! Wetmore is proud of you!
