Johnson athletics benefits from Jag Jam

The Johnson High School Jag Jam took place Sunday, May 7 at the new NEISD Sports Park on Wetmore Road.

The afternoon was filled with fun and sports and competition as the Jaguar Pride Association came together to help fundraise for the athletic department at Johnson High School. Students from all sports came together to dunk their coaches, silly string their friends and fight for top spot in a volleyball tournament.

The JPA works with all athletic departments on campus to support and fund athletic endeavors. Every athletic need is considered and the group works to support and encourage all students on campus.

“The Jaguar Pride Association is a big family. We believe in the spirit of Johnson High School and we believe in our students, staff and parents," said Tony Kaman, JPA President for the 2016-2017 school year. "We work to support our campus and we work to build a sense of family and community. We rely on our parents, campus and community to work together to create a full circle of support, so events like Jag Jam are crucial to our ability to support every athlete at Johnson HS."

The JPA and Johnson HS look forward to what the 2017-2018 season will bring our student Jaguars.
