Future leaders honored by Windcrest Optimist Club

The Windcrest Optimist Club held its monthly meeting in April to honor the future leaders of our community as part of its Student of the Month program. The program focuses on students in the Roosevelt High School cluster schools. These students earn this selection by demonstrating characteristics such as: dependability, excelling at reading, positive attitudes, willingness to help others, kindheartedness, and demonstrating responsibility. A school representative introduces the students and their families, in addition to highlighting the student’s achievements.

Student recognized included:

  • East Terrell Hills – Andrew North
