ETA Robotics heading to World Championships


The Engineering & Technologies Academy (ETA) R4 Robo Riders, team #4219, from Roosevelt High School put its skills to the test March 30 through April 2. The students competed in the Brazos Valley FIRST FRC Regional Robotics competition at University HS in Waco, TX.  After facing and overcoming early hurdles in the competition, the team was picked to compete in an Alliance of three teams in the Quarterfinals.  The team succeeded beyond expectations winning a Silver Medal in the Finals.  As a result, the R4 Roosevelt Robo Riders were picked to advance to the FRC World Competitions in Houston, TX, April 19-22. Congratulations to the team members for a job well done and good luck in Houston.
