Madison Dance celebrates successful season

The Madison Dollies, Fillies, and First Ladies dance teams attended competition in February. At the Marching Auxiliaries competition at Boerne Champion the teams received the following awards:

First Ladies Pep Squad:

1st Military, 1st Jazz, 2nd Pom, Overall Best in Class Pep Squad

Fillies:

1st Elite Pom, 1st Pom, 1st Hip Hop, 2nd Jazz

Dollies:

1st Kick, 1st Pom, 1st Hip Hop, Overall Best in Class Medium Division, Overall Grand Champion Highest scoring Team

The following week the Dollies, Fillies, and First Ladies attended the Champion Events competition hosted at Hays High School. At this competition Dollies, Fillies, and First Ladies were named Grand Champion of their division. The dance directors, Mrs. Barrow and Mrs. Flynn, could not be any more proud of these young ladies.

For the final competition of the season, the Madison High School Dollies and Fillie elite team competed at NDA Nationals in Orlando, Florida. The Dollies advanced to Finals in the large Kick division and received 3rd place. The Fillies advanced to Finals in both JV Pom and JV Kick. The Fillies received an innovative choreography award and 4th place for Pom and received 4th place for Kick. Both teams had incredible performances, outstanding work ethic, and represented Madison High school with pride.
