Stellar Showcase filled with fun, music and dance

It was another unforgettable night of music, dance and fun at the 2017 Stellar Showcase, featuring elementary school students from 14 schools. Packed into two days, North East ISD kicked-off the annual showcase at Littleton Gym on March 8. More students will perform on Thursday, March 9.

Approximately 2000 kindergarten through fifth grade students dazzled over 6,500 attendees. The students showcase skills learned in their physical education classes through well-rehearsed and orchestrated routines. The big event focuses on health and wellness, in addition to promoting teamwork among the students.

Students learned choreographed dance moves accompanied by fun music and exercise using parachutes, exercise balls, teddy bears, and other props. Parents are always impressed with the level of skill in the performances. The Stellar Showcase will continue for years to come, serving as NEISD’s commitment to teaching students about staying active and having fun.

Schools featured this year include: Camelot, Clear Spring, Coker, Hidden Forest, Northern Hills, Woodstone, Colonial Hills, Dellview, Longs Creek, Montgomery, Stahl, Walzem, West Avenue and Wilshire elementary schools.
