Lopez technology students win state championship
This past weekend, projects made by Lopez Middle School technology students were entered into the state finals for the Technology Student Association in Waco. Out of the 31 projects created by Lopez students they won 18 Best in Class, five second place awards and three third place awards.
These projects ranged from kit models, multimedia projects, Computer-Aided Design (CAD), pen construction, robotic programming, and Computer Numeric Control (CNC) projects. Lopez students also won the overall Middle School State Championship, this in the 2nd year in a row Lopez has won this prestigious award.
Lopez technology students are celebrating their latest success.
