Lee WInter guard celebrates a successful year

Lee Winter Guard

The Lee High School Winterguard is still flying high after a big-time winning streak this year. The group dominated in several competitions this season, including the Texas Educational Colorguard Association (TECA) competition and World Guard International (WGI) competitions during the months of February and March.

The first place trophies began to pile up after sweeping every competition this season, deservedly earning the title of 2014 Class Champion Scholastic AA Division. Sponsors and supporters are very proud of the team's latest success.

The team's monster year wouldn't be possible without the dedicated leadership provided by guard instrutors Ray Ramirez and Micha Gause, along with band director, Brannon Baker, and assistant band directors, Hugo Escobedo and Jared Hudler. The group is looking forward to what next season may have in store for them.
