Lee and magnet Programs celebrate world language celebration
Lee High School, the International School of the Americas (ISA), the Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Academy, and the North East School of the Arts (NESA) celebrated world language on May 1. The students and the local community packed into the Lee cafeteria to learn about cultural diversity.
From the intrinsic meanings of the Japanese writing system to the manual communication we know as sign language - all in attendance left the event having learned something new and interesting. The students used their creativity when putting together their eye-catching booths to attract visitors.
