Whether you are a history “buff” or simply want to experience a fun activity as a family, the Tejeda Middle School History Faire & Culture Fest is the event that you will enjoy. Performers, historical reenactment and cultural groups will be on the grounds of Tejeda’s famous History Hill for a day of fun and learning - best of all it’s free for everyone.
Come and learn about the Buffalo Soldiers, watch a medieval tournament, interact with Roman soldiers, listen to the stories of submarine voyages and the Wild West. Food, drinks, snacks, crafts and more will be sold. Tejeda clubs and local vendors will be selling items to benefit their organizations and the school.
Other attractions include, the Viking House, German Sunday Haus, Veteran’s Gazebo, Olive Orchard, WWII Nimitz Museum, Sons of the Confederate Veterans, Sons of the American Revolution, US Air Force, Indian Cultural booth, The American West, and the Native American Cultural booth.
Performing artists include St. Gregory’s Irish Dancers, Copuria Brazilian Dancers, Belly Dancers, and Indian cultural dances performed by Tejeda students. Like apple pie and baseball is to American culture, the History Faire & Culture Fest and History Hill is to Tejeda and our community. So, join Tejeda next Saturday, March 28, from 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. at Tejeda on History
