Colonial Hills celebrates children's book week

Mustache Day

Students and staff at Colonial Hills Elementary Schools were excited about dressing up in honor of Children's Book Week, May 12-16. Students enjoyed taking part in the themed days: Hawaiian Day, Mustache Day, Team Up Day and Book Character Day!

Celebrating its 95th anniversary, Children's Book Week is the longest-running national literacy initiative in the country. Every year, commemorative events are held nationwide at schools, libraries, bookstores, homes - wherever young readers and books connect!
