On January 15, the O’Connor HEB hosted a Sampling Showcase for the staff and families of Woodstone, Northern Hills, and Stahl elementary schools. The event started at 6:00 p.m., and with a line to enter that wrapped around the side of the building.
The students, families and staff enjoyed themselves all evening! They ate, socialized and even met the HEB Buddy. The Sampling Showcase surpassed all expectations with an amazing turnout. "It was a huge delight to see so many parents and their kids in our surrounding community be a part of something so unique and special that could benefit their schools," said operations leader, Julian Humble.
At the end of the night, Woodstone, Northern Hills and Stahl all exceeded the goal of achieving a minimum of 100 families each. Each school was awarded with a $1,000 check, totaling a $3,000 donation from HEB. Woodstone had the greatest turnout of families and staff and were treated to a faculty pizza party.
