Windcrest science teacher earns funding for science lab
Student's use a magnifying glass to learn all about those squimy ground worms.
Windcrest Elementary School Science Instructional Coach, Crystal Chavez, has earned over $1000 in funding for her Science Lab and Windcrest science classrooms through www.donorschoose.org. She has gained funding for Windcrest's Weather Program, as well as earned money to support a live terrarium and functioning aquarium for the Science Lab.
Chavez continues to grow her science program by creating projects for donors to fund through www.donorchoose.org. She deserves a great big high five for all of her efforts and positivity towards Windcrest's Science program. Windcrest students will have many opportunities to see Science in action this year thanks to Ms. Chavez!
