Windcrest optimist club recognizes NEISD students

The October Student Recognition program was conducted at the Oct. 8 meeting of the Windcrest Optimist Club.  The following students were recognized and presented with plaques by Club President Don Myles: East Terrell Hills Elementary - Susana Cruz; Montgomery Elementary - Tahja Sims; Windcrest Elementary - Klarissa Arriaga; Walzem Elementary - Samira Suarez; Kreuger Middle School - Miriam Alfaro; Ed White Middle School - Marina McCree; and Roosevelt High School - Evan Pape.

These students were selected based on their conduct, citizenship, scholastic success, and optimistic attitude.  Optimist congratulations to these future leaders of our community!
