Wilshire students get their 'green' on

A fun day filled with activities designed to increase students' awareness of the environment and how to protect it took place at Wilshire Elementary School on May 6. Plastic containers were recycled to create bird feeders, lessons were learned about how the abuse of nature affects frogs and butterflies, and many more activities as well. Thanks to the volunteers from Fort Sam Houston and Master Gardener, along with our dedicated staff. A great day filled with nature appreciation was had by all!
