Superintendent's Transportation Recognition, June 2012

At times, we have not had enough bus drivers to cover all of the routes necessary to bus our students. Fortunately, there has been a dedicated group of individuals who have stepped up and continued to go beyond the call of duty to keep the buses rolling for our students and their education.

These mechanics, trainers, shop helpers, routing specialists, time and attendance clerks, supervisors, coordinators, dispatchers, technicians, directors, managers, specialists, and under hood crew took time from their day to drive our students to and from school. They did this while still performing their respective duties and responsibilities.

This reception was a small way to say 'thank you' for their sincere dedication to keeping NEISD kids moving—they are an asset to the quality of our students' education.
