Superintendent's Trinity Prize Recognition, May 2012
Since 1982, Trinity University has sponsored the Trinity Prize for Excellence in Teaching to recognize outstanding educators in the greater San Antonio area.
North East ISD developed a committee to review the applications of 49 educators across the district. It took the committee members several hours to review all applications and decide who would represent
our district. The committee did select Dr. Joseph Dungan (shown right) as the NEISD 2011-2012 Trinity Prize Nominee.
Dr. Dungan currently teaches Chemistry at Madison High School and has been employed as an educator in North East ISD for the past 10 years. Dr. Dungan represents all the characteristics of an outstanding educator. His devotion to his profession and students exemplifies the true meaning of a teacher.
While North East nominated the Dr. Dungan for the 2011-2012 Trinity Prize for Excellence in Teaching, this reception was an opportunity to recognize all nominees for their exceptional teaching skills and accomplishments.
