Stone Oak's Third Grade Animal Cafe
As part of Stone Oak Elementary School's science unit this grading period, third grade researched a rainforest or desert animal.
The students learned about where our animal lives, the food it eats, physical features, and how it adapts to its environment.
Each child also put together a technology presentation to share information about their animal. The final project was to create an art piece that depicts their animal. Students could choose from a diorama, life-size model, or an animal can.
During the week of April 15th, each third grade class hosted an Animal Café to share their creations and show off their hard work with family and friends.
